superband On the screens 91 words 10:30 am 0 Comments

milopeng (mi lu bing) support them on superband!

i really super like them when i first saw their performance in one of the performance. I don’t usually watch and start chasing after superband after their performance of the song “guo huo”, a song by Jeff Chang.

I fell in love with the husky voice of nic the vocalist/guitarist. Later i found that the drummer, sam has a very nice soothing voice too. And i like it that they are 3 person yet not lacking!

VOTE FOR THEM!

gold class Personal, On the screens 342 words, 3 images 10:47 pm 0 Comments

 i couldn’t believe that i can have the privilege to catch a movie at GV grand’s gold class theatre because of a kind donation of complimentary gold class tickets from my sis. Haha, i guess cause there’s only one movie being play during this time and she had already watched what was playing. Besides, the tickets were expiring in a few days.

Splendid experience I must say, something that I will never forget.

I went with cat after school to catch “V for vendetta” and this is my gold class ticket stub:

When we bought the tickets, our placed in this professional envelope:
IMG 1986

Gold class is a normal size (the smaller version) of GV’s theatre, with only 30 seats. I got the benefit to enjoy the luxurious seats (arm chair expandable with leg lift) thanks to my sis :D . oh ya, there was a blanket which comes in handy when it got colder. And also a table for us to put the food and drinks.

Maybe this pic can explain more, cat was seated at the circled purple area (because she was wearing purple skirt) and I was seated at the pink:

Its a pity that we do not have enough time to order food from the Gold Class lounge (heard that there’s a variety of finger food). I enjoy every bit of the show, a very original plot. Sis told me that its adapted from a comics book. Maybe someday I will dig out this particular comics book to read, hopefully it will fill me up with more details that I am so very interested to know.

By the way, I feel like a star although I was not served food because we simply didn’t have time to purchase. But when we were exiting, these waiters/usherers were waiting professional “western” suit-like uniform and we exited from where we came in. Not the usual exit that leads to weird smelling staircases and eventually to other parts of the mall.

As what was quoted in the envelope, “At Gold Class. we treat you like a star!”

Marvelous!

Picture this On the screens 383 words 12:13 am 1 Comment

Picture this scenerio:

A macho guy carrying a pretty lass (who struggles badly to be put down) and runs down an escalator from the topmost storey of a famous shopping mall.

The next scene you see, is the macho guy finally acknowleges her unwillingness to be carried further in public.

The screen zooms out as the macho guy let down the pretty lass. And you find that, there is no escalator around that goes up.. because..

they are simply back in the topmost storey after going down an escalator!

What a loophole in the 9th episode of Portrait of home II Singapore’s local drama!

Its not like i am very particular about loopholes (unless horribly amt like that of spiderman, but i didnt watch anyway :P ), but because i am quite familar with the environment of the shot [at Jurong Point] as i used to study near there.

Speaking of my school, I used to study at Jurong JC. The best air-conditioned jc in Singapore. The reason for the privilege of the air-con while other JCs sweat in their airconless classrooms is that we are near the army flight base - which sometimes make super loud and annoying sound - and so we are supposed to be compensated in exchange for a noiser environment, plus air con rooms are more sound proof.

had a small talk with my friends about the change in our school after we left for uni. We felt so deprived from the facilities that were built right after we left - things like revamped canteen, ice cream shop, student lounge, cafe, and many other unknown stuffs. Neverthless, my JC life was quite fruitful without the 5-star facilities. Well, at least i managed to enjoy the air-con rooms :D

Diverting again, i just finished writing my lab report, thats why i’m blogging. Having done the lab report is such a relief because I’m lacking sleep lately.. wanted to go into Maplesea for a short break tho’ but not sure if that will cause a further deprivation of sleep.

Ahh! black eyes rings!

I’ve bought Andrea Eye Q’s undereye circle treatment, which cause quite a sum of 20 SGD. Hopefully, the black eyes rings are not mostly due to heritary factors, if not, what a waste!

Anyway, i think i should stop blogging for now, if not, it will get boring..

Lost Spoilers On the screens 279 words 4:05 pm 1 Comment

Oh no, i’m such a spoiler.

Clickie for spoilers. Or rather recaps if u miss out some important elements.

that’s for the US hit series Lost, currently airing on Thursday 10pm weekly.

Watched the 2 episodes premier yday and like it very much. It seems to be quite like a jurassic park alike show. I doubt it though. I was wondering if the monsters/beasts are actually mutated beings, from the part where the polar bear appeared in a tropical island. Oh, imaginative noob actually said maybe those animals anyhow mix mix mix and breed until become those beasts =/. Well, guess you won’t know what it is for 24 episodes. LOL, no lah not very sure, i read briefly the spoilers, but they nv really mention they seen how it looked like. There’s a part though, where it did mention things like Mr Blah landed on the monster’s feet in like episode 24. But no descriptions. Not so much of a spoilers though.

It’s quite an interesting plot and how they lay out the filming. I credit them for their skilful flashbacks which catches my attention well. Every character in Lost has a story to tell. And u will be amazed most are involved in some kind of tragedy lol. ok, i won’t post spoilers here, but i mind u once u click the link, refrain urself from reading too much. U will know all the stories, except the monster thingy.

Unlike other US hits drama, this 1 is quite exciting. kinda scary and creepy, which i thought the recent hit dramas in US lack of. there are very few drama with plots like this. hmm dunno how to review lah. watch for yourself :D
