yup, i’ve nothing much to blog about these days.. maybe lack of happenings around.

i’m currently obsessed with my ds game - Animal crossing. So fun! and then i’m collecting Rabbits here! haha, everything v nice and everything hehe. oops.. ok, don’t understand? then wait till i am ready to post pics!

many asked me “What have you been up to lately?”, “what games you playing?”, “any online games to reccommend?”. Well, I answered many times already , anyway I’ll do it again over here. Woot, time flies, I think I’m more matured now, I don’t really enjoy online games as much as I did. I think probably the environment is different now? Situation is different, most of gaming cliques are now busy with work, or work, or work. Seriously, no one can afford precious time to spend on online games. Rather, many friends are most willing to spend it outside, with friends - more realistic way of staying in contact.

Likewise, I am having most of my time spent with outings and gatherings. Recently just finished watching ndp family day (full dress rehearsal) at Kallang stadium as well as my convocation (now known as commencement). Officially a graduate now, I think I want to spend my time more wisely, aside from online gaming which probably send me vomitting blood from the amount of bullies i might get. So now, i play The Sims 2. It is not exactly a very wise game to spend my rest of my holidays, but since everyone is so busy to meet up with me, and i’m down with cash. I guess probably The Sims 2 can get me engaged a little while before i embarked on a new phrase of my life, as others say.

Some photos from a house i built base on ideas from someone’s creation, it’s actually a rebuild if you would like to call it this way, because the format of the house is almost the same except for the furnituring. I really did build it from scratch though i copied the fundamental design. Since this idea is taken from others, i didn’t distribute or anything, so don’t ask from me it unless you are a friend of mine.

I renamed the place Beach Ville after building on a bigger lot..

The feature of this house is the Beach! Even though there is no construction of pool, you can actually let your Sims swim in it. Just click on the dive and dive in! This illusion pool idea i took it from a tutorial of making illusion lake pool and fused it into this beach house.

I’m jumping a maplestory level 50 quest right now using Ariafrost (noob’s char) to accompany a friend who is doing the quest. Well, i did it like 9 months ago, in june 2005 before i stopped playing maple for a period of time before i resume now. Anyway, the point about bringing this up is to illustrate how rusty my jumping skills for this quest is.

At this moment, I am afm-ing (away from maple) to blog because i’m waiting for the rest. When i initially joined my friend in jumping, I finished one round (which surprisingly seems effortless because i was pretty lucky in the necki stage) before joining again. The second time i do the quest, many people logged into the same channel and we soon partied up to go through this ordeal together.

Well, this time round wasn’t as smooth as the previous. Probably the bad luck returned, I kept suiciding from the top. There was once i was at the portal already, but was testing if the platform above the fork can be landed on, and down i went. Regardless of being quite panicky about the necki stage this time, overall was pretty fun. I guess when you do something in a group, you tend to enjoy the session more especially when we have a common goal.

We actually vended our anger on necki when we reached the portal. Some of the party is still trying hard to reach the portal.

It was real fun to be jumping with my new made friends in maple because it is, simply fun. Ok, i know i am starting to be making no sense, but if u pieces up the bits you should roughly get what i meant.

I remembered how we used (noob, my dear and I) to be doing jumping quests together when we were still playing maple together. Noob always have the first ‘leg’ and managed to finish before us. I usually end up second, not far from noob (and yet can’t surpass yet for most of the quests),and my dear last . Anyway that was last year and things changed after they went to serve their national service. And afterall, noob had quitted maple. Well, my jumping skills probably have improved tremendously since then as i help several people do the jumping quests. I can now, probably say I am better than noob le. don’t care, i’m better! even though i can’t really prove though since he has long quitted.

The reason why i stayed away from maple for such a long time was due to lack of active friends in buddylist. Now, i don’t see the reason why i should stay away from maple with the growing acquaintance i met.

hehe, I was literally studying my new periodic table that i printed from the net and came up with some silly stuffs that I thought might be interesting. I’m full of nonsense anyway.:P

I thought, why not I translate this silly idea into a game for my site. I’m not sure if there is any sort of this game existing in other sites at all, perhaps similar, but i hope I am still original to remain innovative. It is 100% purely my makeup initially, with no copyright intended. I shall not keep the suspense but reveal the idea, partly to serve as an evidence that i did not copy it before anyone else redirects me to the pioneers of this concept. Even though that at its early stage, the game might have many flaws, i hope i can be able to cover them up by imposing some rules.

Chemistry students should be more familiar with all the terms but it should be playable by all. Lets call it “the periodic table game” before I come out with some exotic name for it. Those who are interested to find out how the periodic table looks like can check it out.

Before I go on to explain the game mechanics and its possible rules, I thought i should introduce how i get the idea. I was studying the periodic table during lecture out of sheer boredom and found that periodic table is pretty interesting. I saw a chemical symbol of the element, Niobium, which is denoted by Nb. for those who know hokkien dialect, you should guess that it is also a short form to some vulgarity word. For those who don’t know hokkien, i think i just told you what it can represents.
