I couldn’t stop laughing on this episode’s content. It is so hilarious that I even bothered to take some pictures of it. Well, the normally quite serious storyline (aside from some funny parts here and there) has provided so much entertainment in this episode. I can’t explain it very well in terms of words, but I believe that people who are catching this anime can truly enjoy or understand what I just said. This is a must watch episode. If you happened to “drop” this series, I strongly recommend you to just download this episode to watch. Nothing beats a hilarious anime.

Nonetheless, I shall do a generally review on why this episode is so worth watching and why it caused me to laugh throughout.

First of all, a brief introduction to this anime for the benefit of those who don’t watch this. Tsubasa chronicle is about an archaelogist guy named Syaoran, apparently secretly admiring his Princess of the country whom he address by “Sakura-hime” (meaning Princess Sakura) tries searching for the remaining parts of her lost memories which appeared as feathers in physical form. He has a feather searching crew which I am not going to explain how they end up with him. And in search of these feathers, they travelled to different worlds (like planets?).

This particular episode start off by having the crew searching for a rabbit companion, named Mokona (who has the power to transport them to different worlds). Shortly after they landed on the new world, they realised that they have all ended up looking deformed - chibi.

Later on, I discovered that Mokona is not in the same world as them. Apparently they ended up in different world. Ironically, all of them except Mokona appeared to be in a story plot of where Mokona is.

Mokona erased the current world they are in so that he can fit in a different settings, in an attempt to draw a plot that could bring them out of the storyline.

Kurogane is chibi-style! So cute, because he is always the most serious looking guy in the crew, this style really entertained me so much.

I’m actually expecting more from Tsubasa because I firmly stand on that “Tsubasa is still one of the most interesting animation I’ve watched” despite that several critics disagreeing with me. I would say that my expectations aren’t very high. Regardless of my stand, it appeared from preview and a review that the next episode will appear to be a filler and would probably bores me to death. hopefully the upcoming ones are not bad!

i couldn’t wait, so i watched Nana the movie even though I know that will make spoil Nana, the animation.

It is quite touching in some parts of the movie

Well, the movie i can sense a tremendous “cut short” of the story though, so i think watching the animation will not be a waste. I wonder if Singapore sells Nana manga, i would absolutely want to read it. This story is so “my-type”. hehe

Well, WHY ENDING DIDN’T SHOW NANA GET BACK WITH SHOUJI? woah, Shouji in the animation is quite dashing with a very dependable character. Shouji in the movie is not bad lookin g too. Its a strange thing why Ren, a rocker is more dependable that Shouji. I mean from the movie, Ren is still deeply in love with Nana Oosaki. WHY isn’t Shouji choosing the noisy Nana in the end?

Today, watched the last episode of Mai Otome.

To sum up, its a pretty nice animation except that when compared to its ‘precessor’ - Mai Hime, it lack of touching moments and plot. I definitely think that Mai Hime is so much nicer and interesting and touching than Mai Otome.

I was pretty disappointed that Sergey lost his memory in the ending. Then Nina stayed beside him. Well, its actually quite a sensible plot. I mean if nina didnt die and arika didnt too, then they might fight each other for Sergey’s love. Actually i am pretty much for Sergey to be with Arika, but well this ending sort of minimise conflicts and promotes that peace is attained.

The most interesting part of Mai Otome is being the use of the same characters, some of which the names are the same (mostly) from Mai Hime.

Overall, I will highly recommend Mai Hime, it remains my most preferred anime till now, probably even more than Fushigi Yuugi (being nice, but kind of lengthy). Mai Hime has the normal 26 episodes but contained sufficient ups and downs for the plot to be very ‘hooking’.

Even though Mai Otome isn’t as good as Mai Hime, maybe because only 1 person died. I will still recommend Mai Otome for a watch since it is somehow related to Mai Otome.
