Esther’s Birthday

Btw, before i start writing anything, I want to slightly make a small comment. I think i blog too much nowadays, so please read previous post 
I just came back from Esther, my nus chemistry major schoolmate, ’s birthday. Now feeling very full.
Actually I reached the place, at Summerhill condo, very late. One of the reason, I am so lazy to get out of the house. Plus, because I was left alone in the house, i had to wait and keep the clothes when they were dried. So, i only reached at around 8:30pm. And i realised that i’m the latest! woohoo! lol
Anyway, I didn’t get a very fantastic present for Esther =( Digress a bit, sad to say, I’m really tight on money, since my cpu graphics card failed on me. It cost me $150 to replace the malfunction one. Without a graphics card, i cant even boot up my com. Unlike my sometimes-malfunctioning soundcard which can endure abit, this fee cannot be saved. But, i bought a TV tuner along with the graphics card. Now think of it i haven’t foot the hp bills. *sweat*
Instead of buying a present for her, this is what i made for her (last minute):

I really like the combination, and i hope she does. I shall make one for myself someday, after my blister recovers.
Frankly speaking, I think cause i tied too tight, i broke strings twice!! 2 different strings! x.X bad omen eh? nono, i don’t believe in such things! but hopes nothing bad happen anyway. What worries me is, when the strings broke it was hard to remedy the band. Normally, people will redo another set. But i no time! I do some tricks on it and .. taadah! done this is the first time, my first time ever salvaging a friendship band that had broken strings. *sing happily
Hmm, after i ate my late dinner. We sang birthday song for her, and she cut the cake. Coffee, fruit cake Well, i think the fruits were rather for decoration, coffee mainly. At least no chocolates, i don’t prefer chocolate cake because they are too sweet for me. And eating too much make me feel nausea. Anyway, the cake was not bad, something for a change. I didn’t get much chances to taste coffee cakes, so i can’t comment on how nice it is.
Before seeing the fruit decorated cake, i already had an idea of having a fruit cake for my birthday. Not really that I would host a birthday party for myself, probably buying a cake and have a mini celebration just with some close friends/family. I want a fruit cake. Because I hope to have a fruitful birthday. And fruit cake taste really really nice. ~~~~~~~~~ *drools*
